MARKETPLACE · TOOLS · EVIDENCE

A transparent space for trading systems

VELAEA CENTER brings together a marketplace for renting, buying, selling and using automated trading software with tools that support operation and help verify trading results. Its purpose-built platform technology, including Risk Guard, helps you define risk-control rules around your own objectives. The aim is to move trading beyond incomplete information and weak oversight into a transparent environment grounded in honest communication, inspectable statistics and traceable evidence, with risk settings you choose within each system’s supported capabilities.

THE ECOSYSTEM

One ecosystem, connected stages

Tools can structure the process. Users still make the decisions, set their risk, and remain responsible for their own accounts.

01

EA LAB

Research and build

Translate strategy rules into an EA for MT4/MT5, with AI assisting the draft logic. Review the code and test it before live use.

Open EA LAB
02

VERIFIED TESTS

Examine test evidence

Read Backtest and Forward Test results with their source, period, account type and risks, under the platform’s verification criteria.

Explore verification
03

PUBLIC PORTFOLIOS

Make portfolios inspectable

Review trading history, Balance, Equity, Drawdown and update status, subject to connected data and the owner’s publication choices.

Explore public portfolios
04

RISK GUARD

Define operating limits

Configure spread, order count, daily loss and drawdown rules where supported by the EA and its settings.

05

EA MARKET

Discover, evaluate and offer

Compare free access, rentals or purchases and examine the actual licence and service terms of each listing.

READ THE EVIDENCE

What Verified means — and what to check next

VELAEA links EA identity to data submitted to its verification system and describes three levels. Open the full report and check the scope behind each label.

01

Verified Backtest

Testing on historical data

The platform describes linking results to the original EA through an embedded identity code. Also examine the test period, data quality, costs and strategy assumptions.

02

Verified Forward Test

Observing ongoing operation

May use a live or demo account in current market conditions. Check the account type, EA version, observation period and latest update; do not assume every account is live.

03

Verified Full Test

Considering both types of evidence

Combines Backtest and Forward Test linked to the same EA. Platform tiers also use the duration of live-account observation. Read the current criteria before comparing badges.

Verified here refers to VELAEA’s own verification process. It is not regulatory certification or an independent audit, and it does not guarantee future performance.

PORTFOLIO INTELLIGENCE

A transparent portfolio shows more than profit

Separate realised results from open positions, and assess risk in the context of the account, observation period and strategy.

Balance / Equity

Balance reflects closed results; Equity includes floating profit and loss. A gap can reveal risk still held in open positions.

Drawdown · DD

A decline from a prior peak. Check whether it is measured on Balance or Equity, then examine depth, duration and recovery.

Profit Factor · PF

Gross profit divided by the absolute gross loss of closed trades. Consider trade count, costs and open results alongside it.

Exposure / Margin

Position size, margin use and concentration in an asset or direction. Several EAs can lose at the same time.

Portfolio data reflects connected accounts and periods. Owners control publication, so check continuity and completeness rather than relying on selected profit screenshots.

RISK GUARD

Risk Guard: configurable rules, defined limits

EA LAB displays four minimum risk-control categories. The action taken at a threshold depends on the EA’s code, version and configuration.

Study the risk controls
  • Maximum spread

Filter execution costs before an order

  • Maximum order count

    Constrain positions under defined rules

  • Maximum daily loss %

Define the response at a daily-loss threshold

  • Maximum DD %

    Set the system’s drawdown threshold

Software rules do not remove investment risk. Price gaps, slippage, disconnections and broker limitations can cause losses beyond configured thresholds. Check how the particular system stops new orders, closes positions and resumes operation.

A DISCIPLINED PROCESS

From an idea to a considered process

  1. 01

    Define

Write clear entry, exit and risk-budget rules.

  2. 02

    Build and review

Inspect logic and code. A successful compile does not validate a strategy.

  3. 03

    Backtest

Examine different market conditions and avoid selecting only favourable periods.

  4. 04

    Observe forward

Test as appropriate and compare actual costs and behaviour with the Backtest.

  5. 05

    Review and disclose

Publish conditions, history, limitations and licence terms before offering a service.

EA MARKET

A Market Hub for users and developers

A useful marketplace helps people compare terms. A verification label should lead to a report, rather than replace it.

For system users

Check instruments, MT4/MT5, broker compatibility, lot sizing, capital requirements, licensing, support and total costs. Free access, rental, trial and purchase options vary by listing.

For system creators

Prepare clear logic, risk boundaries, inspectable reports, version details and service terms. Publication is subject to the platform’s review process.

VPS, tools and access rights depend on the package or listing. Check current terms at the source before subscribing or paying.

CONSTRUCTIVE COMMUNITY

Transparency grows through constructive review

VELAEA’s community guidelines emphasise constructive questions, inspectable evidence and mutual respect, aiming for a less toxic space to learn.

Visit the community
  • Share losses and limitations as well as gains
  • Question the evidence while respecting the person
  • Avoid exaggerated claims and unsupported solicitations

These are community guidelines and goals, not a guarantee that every post is accurate or that misconduct cannot occur. Check sources before relying on a claim.

BEFORE YOU CHOOSE

Questions to answer before choosing an EA

Where did the results come from?

Backtest or Forward Test? Live or demo? Which EA version, connected account and observation period?

What risks are being taken?

Inspect Equity DD, open positions, margin, lot escalation and concentration. Win Rate alone is insufficient.

Do the costs and conditions match?

Spread, commission, slippage, leverage, instruments, broker, VPS and licence rights can change the outcome.

What happens when the system departs from the plan?

Understand Risk Guard, stop procedures, alerts, responsibilities and support before starting.

Start with what you can verify

Choose a topic, then open VELAEA’s current documentation and actual reports before deciding to use a system.
