Bitcoin at $84,000: ETF Flows, Bond Yields and Market Support

Bitcoin recently tested the $82,000–$82,500 area before buying interest helped it recover towards $84,000.

High US bond yields and a stronger dollar can weigh on risk assets, including Bitcoin.

Why has Bitcoin held up under these conditions?

1. There is strong buying in the $82K area.

Buying interest has appeared near $82,000–$82,500, making this area a potential short-term support zone.

Prices have fallen, but buyers are still willing to enter at lower levels.

2. Money from Spot Bitcoin ETF is still flowing in.

US spot Bitcoin ETFs have returned to positive net inflows. Although modest, these flows suggest institutional demand has not disappeared.

The sequence is straightforward:

Selling pressure → Bitcoin pulls back → buyers step in → the price rebounds.

3. Bond yields remain high, but their rise has slowed.

What the market is afraid of is not just high yields, but that the yields will continue to rise.

In the latest period, although yields are still high, they are beginning to stabilize. This makes the market think that some of the risk may have already been reflected in the price.

This reduces the selling pressure of risky assets to some extent.

4. Money Hasn't Escaped the Crypto Market Yet

Not only Bitcoin recovered, but Ethereum and several altcoins also returned positive.

The broader recovery suggests some appetite for risk remains, particularly at prices investors consider attractive.

5. Some markets still view it as a correction.

Bitcoin previously rose above $87,000 before falling back to $82K.

Therefore, part of this round of selling pressure may just be

Profit Taking + Technical Correction

rather than the start of a sustained downtrend.

Now it seems like there are two forces fighting each other.

High bond yields + a stronger dollar = pressure on Bitcoin.

ETF inflows + buying near $82K + risk appetite = support for Bitcoin.

What you need to keep an eye on from now on is $82,000–$82,500

If this support holds, a retest of approximately $87,000 remains possible.

A break below $82K accompanied by stronger selling would put the $80,000 area in focus.

So the really interesting point now is not just

“Bitcoin returns to $84,000”

but is

“Why in an environment where the dollar is strong and bond yields are high, are there still people waiting to buy Bitcoin?”

This is a point to watch, because if yields begin to decline while ETF inflows continue, the pressure on Bitcoin could decrease significantly.
